The Netflix Show, ‘The Queen’s Gambit,’ a story about a chess prodigy, has reignited interest in chess and sent chess set sales soaring in 2020. Founded in 2015, Chess Armory has been crafting unique chess sets finding themselves in the craze of ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ era. With the rise and success the top-ranking Netflix show offered the chess industry, Chess Armory wanted to keep the momentum going and scale on Amazon, their best-selling sales channel. To do so, they needed a full-service Amazon partner.

WHAT WE DID
We consulted with the Chess Armory team from the beginning, rebuilding the entire campaign structure to focus on brand strategy segmentation and improved advertising efficiency. Overhauled their existing creative and catalog, pushing live a new Storefront with brand/lifestyle visuals and videos, updated listing images, conducted A/B tests and keyword research, and revised copywriting (titles, bullets, descriptions, keywords). Additionally, we launched Amazon Canada.
